We are a Lancashire born magickal family now primarily based on the Isle of Wight, the last Pagan stronghold of Anglo-Saxon Britain. We are a working Coven led by our current Matriarch.
Magickally trained & Coven initiated, we are experienced practitioners used to training & instructing others in the ways & methods of spellcrafting & magickal practise. As a magickal family. we have a cumulative knowledge & experience of many Traditions & Practices, including our own family tradition.
In the past, we practised hidden from the eyes of the public. We offered our services & training only to a limited few, veiled in secrecy. Back then, we didn't advertise but word of mouth referrals began to spread. Locals would often seek us out with requests for spell work, for card readings or to find a mentor. Private consultations & small group gatherings became part of our day-to-day lives. It was during these years that the demand to extend what we had to offer to a wider community increased.
At the urging of the community we served, we were encouraged to expand. We were by this time blogging articles & developing educational content. We were offering our services & mentorship up & down the country. Our Spell Kits & Sabbat crafted items became increasingly popular, we added supplies to our catalogue for those who were interested in developing their own practise & prolifically began publishing our written works.
'Familiar & Casket' was born in response to the success of the goods & services we were providing in the early days. We have helped & guided many over the years, together we have evolved, witnessing the birth of a myriad of social & e-commerce platforms. We've overcome the challenges of a pandemic & we have emerged transformed!
Presently, we serve the UK community only. We have taken all that we have experienced & opened new opportunities for those who desire to empower themselves. This website, additional retail outlets, events & webinar platforms all combine to provide the community with a multitude of gateways to a first class, easily accessible service. To walk the path of the wise is to confidently stride forward, we honour those who came before us in continuing to serve & hopefully inspire upcoming generations to carry the torch.
We live & breathe our craft. We follow the tides & natural rhythms of the year. Living & working in such an incredibly beautiful part of the UK, Sea Witchery, Hedge Witchery & Green Witchery contribute to our daily personal practise. With access to ley lines & sacred sites including the Longstone, multiple sacred springs & wells, we are honoured to be surrounded by the various genius loci of this special Isle.
